Whilst we fell in love with the island when we first visited in 2015, it took us a few more holidays before we discovered the lovely Porto Antigo II complex. As we were immediately convinced that it could not get any better than that, we decided that this was the perfect spot for our little "home away from home".

In case we have not convinced you yet, which we doubt, here's a little on the beautiful Isla do Sal.
Sal is the most famous island of Cape Verde thanks to its white beaches and deep blue ocean. It belongs to the top 10 best places in the world for surfing and is also very loved by kitesurfers and divers.
The inland of the island is dry and arid, but the salt mines and the extinct vulcano in the north by Pedra de Lume are definitely worth a visit.
Santa Maria, located only a short 15 minutes drive away from the Airport of Espargos, is the most vivid coastal town with a broad variety of restaurants and bars. Fish lovers (like us) will definitely feel home in this little fishing village.
The slogan of the locals is actually "no stress", which is self-explanatory.
Sal is only a 4 to 6 hour flight from the European mainland. Together with sun and mild temperatures the whole year round makes it definitely a dream location for beach-lovers looking for rest and 'vitamin sea' at any time of the year.
